As I was petting one of my cats and rubbing his round belly, I had the thought of how ridiculous it is when people bash on Meulin cosplayers who are not thin. If anything, Meulin cosplayers SHOULD be bigger girls because most cats aren’t skinny. Unless they are that gangly teenage kitten stage which is how I imagine Nepeta. 

Actually, I really think that canon bodies are whatever size the cosplayer is because fuck that body shaming shit. 

As for cosplaying opposite genders, let me tell you a little story- I was scrolling through Tumblr one day when I saw the hottest, most delicious Bro Strider I could imagine (and I am not even into that character normally)  we are talking grade A, panty wetting hot. 

I find out later that the cosplayer is a girl. 

I am 100% heterosexual and this GIRL was such a convincing and sexy Bro, that I had a nano second of, “I’d still tap it, girl or not”

I also once wept tears of jelly ITS NOT FAYRE over the indescribable beauty of a cosplayer who turned out to be a boy cosplaying a girl character.

So yeah, fuck the haters.. cosplay ALL THE THINGS.
